Winter Activities
Natural beauty, endless fall-line skiing, and Steamboat's authentic Western ambiance combine to make Steamboat a winter wonderland.
In addition to downhill skiing, visitors to Steamboat can enjoy snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, powder-cat skiing, sledding, tubing, or take a horse-drawn sleigh ride. During the winter months, Steamboat plays host to several festivals including the Annual Cowboy Downhill and the week-long festivities of Winter Carnival.

Summer Activities
Steamboat Springs boasts a superb summer climate with an abundance of warm weather activities. Golf is only the beginning. Thousands of acres of alpine adventures beckon just outside the Christie Club. Steamboat's trail system offers mile after mile of recreation for runners, walkers, bikers, and roller bladers.
Tennis, hiking, fishing, biking, hot air ballooning, mountain biking, river rafting, water skiing, kayaking, sailing, swimming, horseback riding, or tubing on the Yampa make the days pass all too swiftly.
Any remaining time will be filled with visits to coffee shops, book stores, ice cream parlors, hot springs, an abundance of unique shops and galleries, and more than 60 restaurants and bars.
